Founding partner

Ruth Hallam

Ruth co-founded Fieldwork in 2009 and leads the studio's park and open space projects.

Before Fieldwork, Ruth spent ten years at a large multidisciplinary practice, working on the landscapes of the London 2012 Olympic Park. She left to work on smaller, stranger places, closer to the people who use them.

She has led more than forty park projects, including Millbrook Riverside Park and the restoration of St Agnes Park. Ruth sits on the Landscape Institute's policy committee and teaches at the University of the West of England.
